Faith-based movie premieres at Elgin church

First UMC in Elgin hosts the premiere of the new movie "For Prophet," which was filmed at the church and in the community. The movie was written, directed, and produced by Mark Stewart Iverson who grew up in Hoffman Estates, Ill,. and attended Our Saviour's UMC in Schaumburg.

Mission Challenge donations triple the goal

After driving more than 600 miles in two days to pick up over 14,400 pounds of the most-needed items for the Midwest Mission Distribution Center (MMDC), driver Ramon Ortiz, MMDC’s Operations Assistant, turned around and picked up another truckload of medical equipment!
