Rev. Jim Ozier
Jim Ozier, founder of The Difference Makers Group, is a seasoned pastor, coach, and consultant specializing in church leadership transitions and congregational vitality. After succeeding the founding pastor at Trietsch Memorial UMC in Flower Mound, Texas, he led the church for 18 years, growing it to over 4,000 members and helping launch three new congregations. His experience navigating pastoral transitions inspired him to begin coaching other pastors in 2008, partnering with Jim Griffith Coaching and Path1 of the UMC.
A former Director of New Church Development and Congregational Transformation for the North Texas Conference, Jim has trained more than 20,000 pastors and church leaders across 30+ Annual Conferences on topics such as church culture, leadership transitions, pastoral searches, and hospitality. He has also spoken at major events including the Church of the Resurrection Leadership Institute and the Indiana Annual Conference, and contributed to national publications like The Circuit Rider and Leading Ideas.
Jim lives in Irving, Texas, with his wife, Suzanne, a retired special education teacher.
