Ac26 Child Care Banner

The Northern Illinois Conference is pleased to offer safe, nurturing, and reliable child care during Annual Conference, helping parents and caregivers participate fully in worship, learning, and connection.

Child Care for Annual Conference 2026 will be hosted by Schaumburg: Our Saviour's UMC in conjunction with Schaumburg: Our Redeemer's UMC. Children will enjoy meaningful, age-appropriate activities in a caring, faith-centered environment led by trained staff and volunteers. Advance registration is required, and space is limited

New for 2026, Child Care hours are extended over scheduled breaks, basic meals are provided, and the age range has been expanded to include children and youth up to 17. These updates are designed to better support families throughout the conference.

Child care will be available for children and youth during the following times:

  • Sunday, June 14: 1 to 9 p.m.
  • Monday, June 15: 8:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 16: 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Our trained staff and volunteers provide age-appropriate activities in a safe, supervised, and welcoming environment.

We ask parents to note the times they need to pick up their children to honor our providers. Please be aware that to drop off or pick up your child on time, it may be necessary to miss a few minutes of sessions.

Cost:

  • $20 per child per day
We are unable to pro-rate the cost for partial usage.
  • Total cost per family (3+ children) $60 per day or $180 total
  • Optional: $15 per child – VBS T-Shirt from OSUMC - ends May 4

Ages:
