Protecting our ministries on the road
Our driver policy helps ensure safety, protection, and good stewardship across all churches in the Northern Illinois Conference.
All staff and volunteers who drive for ministry purposes—whether transporting youth to a retreat, picking up supplies, or delivering food for an event—must follow the policy guidelines. This includes completing motor vehicle reports (MVRs) for all drivers and, when applicable, background checks. Following are the policy and information on receiving background check reports.
By implementing this policy, we safeguard our congregations, ministries, and mission while being responsible stewards of our shared insurance resources.
