Pentecost Gathering in Freeport Area Raises Hope
Hope was alive on May 31 as an intergenerational group of over 300 from 16 Freeport-area churches gathered at the Oakdale Tabernacle to celebrate Pentecost.
Rev. William Robert Wentworth, retired clergy member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Rev. William Wentworth served at Melrose Park, Batavia: First, DeKalb: First, Joliet: Ottawa Street, Hinsdale, Libertyville: First, and Aurora: Fourth Street. He was 90 years old.
Funeral services will be held at First Church UCC, 136 Main Street, Sandwich, MA 02536 on June 23, 2018, at 1:30 pm. There will be no visitation.
