NIC Delegation Celebrates Amendments Adoption
The NIC delegates to the 2020/2024 General Conference celebrate the ratification of the four constitutional amendments that affirm the UMC as a fully inclusive church.
Mrs. Nancy Esty, spouse of deceased member Rev. Marshall Esty of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019. During his ministry in Northern Illinois Conference, he served at Bridgeview Redeemer, South Deering, St. Charles-Associate, Winthrop Harbor, Prophetstown, Aurora First, Ashton and Alsip. Mrs. Esty was 83 years old.
The celebration of her life will be held on March 23, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Church of the Palms United Church, 14808 N Boswell Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351. A small reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund, in the name of Nancy and Marshall Esty, has been established at the Church of the Psalms (UCC) in Sun City, AZ.
