Rev. Dr. Rodrigo Cruz

Rodrigo nació y creció en Monterrey México donde se ejerció como abogado criminal por un numero de años hasta que respondió a su llamado al ministerio por tiempo completo en el 2006.

Después de mudarse a los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica con su familia, Rodrigo completo su Maestría en Divinidades por parte del Seminario Teológico de Asbury en el 2012, se ordenó como un Elder en la Iglesia Metodista Unida en el 2015, y completo su Doctorado en Ministerio en Liderazgo con Excelencia por parte del Seminario Teológico Wesley en el 2016.

En Enero del 2016, Rodrigo y su familia comenzaron un movimiento de fe multiétnico llamado The Nett Church localizada en Gwinnett County, Georgia. La visión de la iglesia es que las Naciones puedan experimentar la transformación de Jesucristo juntas, al reflejar los Domingos por la mañana la diversidad que sucede en los sistemas escolares de Lunes a Viernes.

En el 2019, Rodrigo fue votado por la Cámara Hispana de Comercio del Estado de Georgia como uno de los Latinos más influyentes en el Estado de Georgia.

En el 2020, Rodrigo fue nombrado Superintendente Distrital del Distrito Este Central en la conferencia del Norte de Georgia, supervisando 75 iglesias en los condados de Gwinnett, Barrow, Walton, Oconee, and Clark County, mientras continue como pastor titular de la iglesia The Nett.

En el 2022, la iglesia The Nett Church fue votada por la revista Outreach como una de las 100 iglesias que mejor se reproducen en el país. Actualmente la iglesia esta hacienda ministerio en 5 campuses en el condado de Gwinnett.

En el 2023, nuevamente Rodrigo fue votado por la Cámara Hispana de Comercio del Estado de Georgia como uno de los Latinos más influyentes en el Estado de Georgia.

Rodrigo está casado con Kelly, nacida en California, y juntos tienen 5 hijos RJ (de 17 años de edad), Natalia (de 14 años de edad), Gabriel (de 11 años de edad), Benjamín (de 8 años de edad) y Jona (de 3 años de edad).

Los pasatiempos de Rodrigo son sus hijos y constantemente está aprendiendo de los intereses de cada uno de ellos para poder seguir conectado en sus vidas.

Rev. Dr. Rodrigo Cruz

Rodrigo was born and raised in Monterrey Mexico where he practiced criminal law for several years before transitioning into full-time ministry in 2006.

After moving to the United States with his family, he received his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2012, became an Ordained Elder of the United Methodist Church in 2015, and received his Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary in 2016.

In January of 2016, Rodrigo and his family launched on their living room a multi-ethnic movement of faith called The Nett Church, located in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The vision of the church is for Nations to Experience Transformation in Jesus Together, while reflecting on Sunday mornings the diversity of the school systems from Monday through Friday.

In 2019, Rodrigo was voted by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as one of the 50 most influential Latinos in the State of Georgia.

In 2020, Rodrigo was appointed also as the District Superintendent of the Central East District in the North Georgia Conference overseeing over 75 churches in Gwinnett, Barrow, Walton, Oconee, and Clark County, while continuing to lead The Nett Church.

In 2022, The Nett Church was voted by the Outreach Magazine as one of the top 100 reproducing churches in the country. Currently the church is doing ministry in 5 campuses across Gwinnett County.

In 2023, Rodrigo was voted by the Georgia Chamber of Commerce as one of the 50 most influential Latinos in the State of Georgia.

Rodrigo is married to Kelly, a California native, and together they have 5 children RJ (17 years old), Natalia (14 years old), Gabriel (11 years old), Benjamin (8 years old) and Jona (3-year-old).

Rodrigo’s hobbies are his children and is constantly trying to pick up whatever interest and passions they have so he can stay constantly engaged in their lives.
