CLERGY IDs

Your Clergy ID can be used for ministerial purposes, including access to hospitals, nursing homes, and other institutions where clergy identification may be required.

  • For Active Clergy
    • Clergy ID were sent out in October 2024 to all active clergy.
    • These IDs are valid for the duration of the current quadrennium until June 2028.
    • If you are a clergy member under appointment/assignment and would like to receive an ID card, please submit your request by filling out the Active Clergy ID Form.

  • For Retired Clergy
    • A new, modern Clergy ID was created in 2024. 
    • Retired Clergy IDs will not have an expiration date.
    • If you are a retired clergy member from NIC  and would like to receive an ID card, please submit your request by filling out the Retired Clergy ID form.

Clergy Ministry Review

  •  Clergy Appointed or Assigned to a Local Church - Elders, Deacons, Local Pastors, DS Supply Pastors
  • Staff Parish Relations Committee
    • Submitting this form (Clergy Ministry Review-SPRCis the last step of the review process. It is the result of the following collaboration of the clergy and SPRC using the clergy’s self-review, individual SPRC member reviews, and conversation between the clergy and SPRC. Prepare your answers using the SPRC Worksheet.
    • Deadline June 15, 2025
      • Step 1
        SPRC answers Part 1 without the clergy person present.
        • Collate the data of all of the worksheets to create a consensus score for each area and offer useful comments.
        • Print the SPRC Worksheet and distribute it to each SPRC member (at least 5 people) to complete. 
      • Step 2
        SPRC & Clergy answers Part 2 together.
        • The pastor joins the staff parish where the committee will share their results and the pastor will share their reflections.
        • Together, the SPRC and pastor will write a brief summary, determine pastoral strengths, pastoral areas of growth, and congregational/pastoral goals for the coming year.
      • Step 3 - Submission
