Almost 200 March for Justice for Immigrants
About 150 Northern Illinois United Methodists marched to demonstrate their support of justice for immigrants on June 15, near the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center.
Rev. William H. Blomberg, a retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at age 88. During his ministry in the Northern Illinois Conference he served Elgin: First, Hanover, South Elgin: Community, Freeport: Embury, Mendota: First and Mount Carroll.
Private family services will be held and burial will take place at the Cedarville Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
A memorial fund has been established for the Cedarville United Methodist Church and the Dyslexia Foundation.
