Sympathy Notice: Rev. Richard D. Tholin

Rev. Richard D. Tholin, retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.  
 
During his ministry in the Northern Illinois Conference, he served at Chicago Diversey Parkway 1952 - 1959 and at Garrett-Evangelical Seminary from 1963-1993 where he was a Professor of Christian Social Ethics and the Academic Dean.  Rev. Tholin was 90 years old.
 
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at United Church of Rogers Park, 1545 W. Morse Ave., Chicago.  A reception at the church will follow.
