Rev. Flora G. Robinson, a retired clergy member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. She was consecrated as a Diaconal Minister in 1997 and became a full Deacon in 2000.
During her ministry in the Northern Illinois Conference, she served as the Minister of Music at Chicago: Englewood-Rust and Chicago: Resurrection.
In addition to musical contributions in local churches in the former Chicago Southern and Chicago Northwestern Districts, Rev. Robinson conducted worship workshops at the Northern Illinois Annual Conference, Black Methodists for Church Renewal (BMCR) local caucus events, and North Central Jurisdictional programs.
Rev. Robinson was 79 years of age.
A memorial service has already been held.
