Almost 200 March for Justice for Immigrants
About 150 Northern Illinois United Methodists marched to demonstrate their support of justice for immigrants on June 15, near the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center.
Rev. Philip M. Dripps, a retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on April 15, 2026.
During his ministry, he faithfully served the following appointments: Chicago: Ogden Park; University of Chicago (Methodist chaplain); Orland Park; Highland Park: Bethany; Oswego: Good Shepherd; St. Charles: Baker and Memorial
Rev. Dripps was 91 years old.
A celebration of life will be held on June 6, 10:30 a.m., at Baker Memorial UMC, 307 Cedar Ave., St. Charles.
