In Sympathy: Esther F. Crandall

Mrs. Esther F. Crandall, surviving spouse of retired member Rev. Kenneth Crandall of the Northern Illinois Conference passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024.   During Rev. Crandall’s ministry he served Wilmington; Tinley Park; Libertyville; Roselle and Lansing: First.

Mrs. Crandall was 97 years old.

There will be two Celebrations of Life.

  • Friday, August 23, 2024, from 5:30PM - 8:30PM at the Zambesi Lodge, Glen Oak Zoo (one of Esther's favorite places to visit), 2320 N Prospect Road, Peoria, IL. Parking is available at the Luthy Botanical Garden
  • Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 12PM – 3PM at the Riverfront Log Lodge, adjacent to the Rock River Valley Swedish American YMCA, 200 Y Boulevard, Rockford, IL. Parking is available at the YMCA.

Messages of condolence can be sent to The Crandall Family through the nursing home.

Memorials can be made to the Appalachia Service Project in Mrs. Esther F. Crandall’s name.
