The Northern Illinois Conference is pleased to welcome Elizabeth Stahl as the conference's new risk manager. She begins work on June 2.
"I am happy to have found 'the one' during our interview process for this position," said Elaine Moy, NIC's treasurer and director of administrative services. "Beth has over 20 years of insurance experience, she's a pastor's kid and a lifelong member of a United Methodist church. She has the knowledge and skills of insurance, and the heart for this ministry. "
Ms. Stahl said she is excited about starting a new career.
"I am looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know the churches," she said. "I want to assist them in managing risk well."
"We are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth Stahl to the Northern Illinois Conference," said Jeff Ludwig. "With over 20 years of experience in insurance, finance and property management, she will be a valuable contributor to the conference’s risk management operation. She has the unique professional and life experiences we need to advance our risk management goals that support our broader faith mission."
Ms. Stahl has been working at Allstate/HJS Financial Consulting Group as a personal financial representative. Her skills include financial analysis, sales and customer service communication and presentation, problem-solving and decision-making, budgeting and project planning.
A lifelong United Methodist, she was baptized at Antioch UMC and continues to worship there. She is the daughter of a retired UMC pastor, Rev. Martha Schmidt.
