What It Means to Be a Reconciling Church
The people of Friendship United Methodist Church in Bolingbrook, a Reconciling community, aim to move from saying “all are welcome” to living “all are home.”
We are beginning the 2021 Church Conference season - a time to evaluate the work of the church and a time to celebrate your ministries in your communities, despite the difficulties and restrictions of the pandemic. This year, along with receiving reports and voting on important issues, we will lead a conversation framed around the theme “Jesus Makes a Way.”
Our 2021 Church Conference materials, including the agenda and online forms, are now LIVE and available at www.umcnic.org/churchconference.
The forms are designed for online submission and will look very similar to last year’s. Please note that all of the reports should be submitted online two weeks prior to your church conference, with the exception of the Clergy Compensation form.
Churches may plan on an in-person conference or via Zoom, as we continue to monitor COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
