The Justice Generation of the NIC's Anti-Racism Task Force is honored to welcome Natalie Moore, an award-winning Chicago journalist who heads up race/communities reporting for NPR/WBEZ. Ms. Moore will be discussing how race is portrayed in media and news. In 2017, Chicago Reader named Ms. Moore, "Chicago Journalist of the Year." Ms. Moore is also the author of three books:

  • The South Side: A Portrait of Chicago and American Segregation
  • The Almighty Black P Stone Nation: The Rise, Fall and Resurgence of an American Gang
  • Deconstructing Tyrone: A New Look at Black Masculinity in the Hip-Hop Generation
