Every church deals with conflict, both healthy and unhealthy. This course will equip and empower lay servants to help lead through those times of conflict and steer these difficult times into times of positive transformation. Lay leaders will learn how to prepare themselves for the work of engaging conflict and then explore strategies that can be used to transform conflict into a positive rather than a negative force. Students must attend all 5 scheduled classes to complete the course.
Students will be required to purchase the textbook, "The Spirit and Art of Conflict Transformation" By Thomas Porter (978-0-8358-1026-5). Available on Amazon.
