Cost includes needed books as well as breakfast and lunch both days

Class Options: (one course per academy)

  • Basic Course This course is foundational for all courses in Lay Servant Ministries. Participants are encouraged to consider the importance of servant leadership, developing future leaders and remaining rooted in consistent spiritual practices.
    Instructor: Roger Curless
  • Leading in Worship  This course focuses on lay servants who regularly or occasionally lead in worship
    Instructor: Rev. Sherry Steele
  • Becoming the Beloved Community  This class presents the history and consequences of racism in the United States and seeks to move beyond facts into the human stories and fears behind this history.
    Instructor: Dr. Richard Guzman
