National Workshop on Christian Unity 2024

Location: Lutheran Center in Chicago

The National Workshop on Christian Unity Gathering
November 18-20, 2024

The Church Center for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
Chicago, Illinois

Theme: "Hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches"

The National Workshop on Christian Unity (N)WCU has been gathering annually since 1963.  Begun by leaders in the Roman Catholic Church, it is an opportunity to learn ecumenical theology, worship together and have fellowship with other Christians in the US.

The United Methodist Ecumenical and Interreligious Training (UMEIT: USA) meets parallel to the NWCU in the same location, allowing for Methodists interested in ecumenism to have further training.  Together the NWCU and UMEIT: USA are excellent opportunities for all those interested in ecumenism.  Participation for annual conference Christian Unity leaders is strongly recommended, as the event also allows for personal interaction with the Council of Bishops’ ecumenical/interreligious staff.

Visit the NWCU website

Partial Scholarship is available for those attending UMEIT: USA and NWCU for the first time. Application deadline is Aug. 30. Learn more.
