Seeking clarity on clergy taxes?

Our seminar instructor will be Ellen Feliciano, an Enrolled Agent and a Master Tax Advisor with H&R Block. Ellen has been preparing taxes professionally for 9 years. Her areas of expertise include clergy taxes, sole proprietor taxes, investment income, healthcare expenses, and retirement income. She worked as a Project Manager in the insurance industry for many years before preparing taxes.

Ellen is a member of Urban Village Church and serves as co-District Lay Leader in the Chicago Northwestern District. She will present important and timely information, including:

  • Changes from the Tax Cut and Jobs Act
  • Planning your compensation package
  • Reporting income
  • Deductions
  • Clergy housing allowance exclusion
  • Professional expenses
  • Tax planning
  • The importance of UMPIP and other pension issues
