"The Heart Knows Wonder"

A pre-Advent Workshop and Worship

Download flyer

All Chicago Northwestern District clergy and laity are invited! We'll start by talking about Heart Math (https://www.heartmath.com) for about an hour. Woody Bedell, NIC Director of Human Resources, has been using Heart Math for years and will be serving as a facilitator. Then we will move into a time of worship.

A perfect way to begin Advent:  in wonder, in worship and in community!

Our worship offering... recently, our sister congregation Lincoln UMC has been targeted by a white supremacist group because it is a sanctuary church. As we prepare for advent, we are reminded that we worship a God who was also an immigrant. Our offering for the service will go to helping protect the people of Lincoln UMC.
