2019 Candidacy Summit

The Summit is a 2-day event during which candidates for licensed and ordained ministry entering candidacy receive accurate information about the entire candidacy process; begin meeting together in small groups with trained Mentors; and have an opportunity to worship, share their call stories, and take required the psychological exam, if they haven’t already done so. 

Friday, Jan. 11 @ 1 pm – 7:30 pm
Welcome, Worship, Orientation, Candidacy Process, 
Interview, Mentoring (round 1), Dinner

Saturday, Jan 12 @ 9 am- 12 noon (or until 5 pm for Psychological Exam)
Gathering, Worship, Next Steps, Mentoring (round 2), Lunch
12 noon- 5 pm Psychological Exam, leave as needed

Cost: $200 will be required from candidates prior to the summit to cover the required background check ($175) and a portion of the costs of the Summit. For those candidates who have previously completed their background check, the registration cost is reduced to $25.
