DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES OF THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
The Discipleship Task Force's definition of discipleship is following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. It's learning from Jesus' teachings, emulating Jesus' ways, and embracing God's love.
The Discipleship Task Force is working towards the following goals:
- Encouraging individuals in the life-long practice of developing and strengthening a personal relationship with God;
- Supporting congregations in fostering discipleship in all of their ministries;
- Sharing the Good News with people who do not know Jesus.
