Update Sympathy Notice: Rev. James McKendree Wall

Rev. James McKendree Wall, retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021, at age 92. During his ministry in the Northern Illinois Conference, he served as editor of the Christian Advocate and editor and publisher of the Christian Century magazine.

A memorial service will be held on Oct. 2 at 10 am at First UMC, 232 South York Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126. Masks required. 

A visitation was held April 1 from 1-5 pm at Ahlgrim Chapel in Elmhurst, 567 Spring Road, Elmhurst, IL 60126.
