NIC Delegation Celebrates Amendments Adoption
The NIC delegates to the 2020/2024 General Conference celebrate the ratification of the four constitutional amendments that affirm the UMC as a fully inclusive church.
Mrs. Shanthi Thangaraj spouse of retired clergy of the Northern Illinois Conference passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. During Rev. Anthony Thangaraj's ministry with the Northern Illinois Conference, he served at Thomson-Argo Fay, Plattville, Harmon-Eldena, Northlake, Oak Park: Frances Willard Memorial, Chicago: Edison Park, and Elgin: Grace.
Mrs. Thangaraj was 73 years old.
The memorial service will be held this Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 11 am at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 1650 W Foster; Chicago, IL 60640. The viewing will be at 10 am.
