Rev. Rodney B. Dillinger, a retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026.
During his ministry, he faithfully served the following appointments: Rockford: Evans Memorial; Carol Stream: St. Andrew; Lemont; Rockford: Beth Eden; and Roselle.
Rev. Dillinger was 93 years old.
A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 4 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL 61103. Visitation will follow the service until 6 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
