NIC Delegation Celebrates Amendments Adoption
The NIC delegates to the 2020/2024 General Conference celebrate the ratification of the four constitutional amendments that affirm the UMC as a fully inclusive church.
Robert L. Brandner, spouse of retired clergy Rev. Gale T. Brandner of the Northern Illinois Conference, died April 14, 2022, at age 76. During Rev. Brandner's ministry, she served Leaf River, Pearl City: First, Zion, Mendota: Zion and Walnut.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23 at Spring Valley United Church of Christ, 227 Erie St., Spring Valley, IL with visitation one hour preceding the service.
Memorials may be directed to the family for distribution between two of Bob’s favorite charities.
