Rev. Judith Marie Giese, a retired clergy member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away September 29, 2021, at age 68. During her ministry in Northern Illinois, she served Chicago: Clearing, Chicago: Ashburn, Plano, Malta, Northwest Malta, Red Oak (Bureau), and Wyanet. She was appointed to a medical leave of absence in 2017 and retired this year.
A visitation will be held October 8 from 4-7 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115
The funeral service will be October 9 at 2 pm at Malta UMC with visitation at 1 pm prior to the service at the church located at 210 Sprague Street, Malta, IL 60150.
