Almost 200 March for Justice for Immigrants
About 150 Northern Illinois United Methodists marched to demonstrate their support of justice for immigrants on June 15, near the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center.
Rev. James B. McDonald, retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference passed away Friday, April 21, 2023. During his ministry he served at Hanover, Libertyville: First, New Lenox and Downers Grove: First.
Rev. McDonald was 74 years old.
Visitation is Sunday, April 30, 2023, from 2 PM – 6 PM at Vandenberg Funeral Home, located 19604 Wolf Road, Mokena, IL 60448. Lying In State Monday, May 1, 2023, at United Methodist Church of New Lenox, 339 W Haven Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451 from 10 AM until time of Funeral Service 11 AM.
