Rev. Fred H. Conger Jr., a retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021, at age 88. During his ministry in the Northern Illinois Conference, he served Chicago: Julia Gay Memorial, Deerfield: Christ, Roselle, Glenview, and Downers Grove: First.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 28, 2021, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Downers Grove, 1032 Maple Avenue, Downers Grove, IL 60515. Visitation with the family will follow the service.
