Almost 200 March for Justice for Immigrants
About 150 Northern Illinois United Methodists marched to demonstrate their support of justice for immigrants on June 15, near the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center.
Rev. Evaristo Loaiza, retired clergy member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, at age 97. During his ministry, he served Chicago: El Divino Redentor and El Buen Samaritano.
A memorial service will be held March 6, 2022, at Christian Funeral Home, 3100 W Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL 60618 at 4 pm.
The family requests visitors wear face coverings.
