Rev. Dr. W. Gehl Devore, retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Tuesday, February 05, 2019. Rev. Devore became a probationary member of the Southern Illinois Conference in 1945 and a full member of the Rock River Conference in 1947. During his ministry in the NIC, he served Westmont, Rockford: Grace, Barrington, and Waukegan: First.

Services for Rev. Devore are as follows:
Visitation: Sunday, February 10; 5:00p-8:00p
Funeral: Monday, February 11; visitation 10:00 a.m.; funeral 11:00 a.m.
Visitations and service will be held at Waukegan: First, 128 North Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Waukegan, IL.
