Sympathy Notice: Ms. Kiyoko K. Fujiu

Ms. Kiyoko K Fujiu, spouse of deceased member Rev. Victor T. Fujiu of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023.  During his ministry Rev. Fujiu served Chicago Christian Fellowship; Northbrook; Oak Park: Euclid; District Superintendent for Chicago: Northern District; and Melrose Park. 

Ms. Fujiu was one of the first general secretaries for the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women.   

She was 98 years of age. 

The service will take place on July 29 at Chicago: Ravenswood Fellowship United Methodist Church, 4511 N. Hermitage, Chicago, IL  60640.  The visitation will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The service will begin at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow.
