NIC Delegation Celebrates Amendments Adoption
The NIC delegates to the 2020/2024 General Conference celebrate the ratification of the four constitutional amendments that affirm the UMC as a fully inclusive church.
Mrs. Molly O. Holtsford, surviving spouse of deceased clergy Rev. Philip Holtsford of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2019. During Rev. Holtsford's ministry in the NIC, he served at Bethel (Mt. Greenwood), Dolton: Sandridge, Elmhurst: Christ, DeKalb: First, and Aurora: Wesley.
Mrs. Holtsford was 85 years old.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 at First United Methodist Church, 321 Oak St., DeKalb, IL with the Rev. Jonathan Crail officiating.
