NIC Delegation Celebrates Amendments Adoption
The NIC delegates to the 2020/2024 General Conference celebrate the ratification of the four constitutional amendments that affirm the UMC as a fully inclusive church.
Maurine Sheppard, Hanover United Methodist Church Lay Member to Annual Conference, passed away Sunday, December 2nd.
Mrs. Sheppard, a lifelong member of the UMC, served the church in many capacities; Sunday School teacher, choir member, financial secretary, to name a few.
Visitation will be held on December 7, 2018, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Law-Jones Funeral Home, 202 Monroe Street, Hanover, IL 61041
The Funeral Service will be held at Hanover United Methodist Church, 110 Monroe Street, Hanover, IL 61041, December 8, 2018, at 11:00 am.

Lord God, we remember Maurine whose life we celebrate as we commend her to your care. May your perpetual light shine in our darkness as we mourn her loss. In Christ, Amen.
