Mrs. Marilyn Winkler spouse to retired clergy Rev. Eugene Winkler, member of the Northern Illinois Conference, mother of Rev. Chris Winkler, pastor at Barrington United Methodist Church and Jim Winkler, President of the National Council of Churches, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017. Rev. Eugene Winkler served at First Chicago Temple, Community Naperville, and Waukegan Faith.
Mrs. Winkler was 81 years old.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 Algonquin Rd, Barrington, IL 60010. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m.
