Pastor Sigfried Schwirblat, a local pastor in the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024. Sigfried had been serving Rock Falls United Methodist Church. During his ministry, Sigfried served Orangeville and Afolkey: Bethel.

Memorial services will take place on Saturday, Jan. 4:

Rock Falls United Methodist Church
210 Fourth Ave., Rock Falls

Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m.
Memorial service: 11 a.m.
