Almost 200 March for Justice for Immigrants
About 150 Northern Illinois United Methodists marched to demonstrate their support of justice for immigrants on June 15, near the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center.
Rev. Dr. Lynn Everitt Longenbaugh, a retired member of Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on June 6, 2024. During his ministry he served Sheldon; Rock Grove: Fairfield; Rock City and Rock Grove; Forreston: First; Chicago: Mt. Greenwood; Elgin: Wesley; Morrison; Wheaton: Gary Memorial; LaSalle: Grace.
Rev. Longenbaugh was 86 years old.
Services were held on June 22.
