Mrs. Janice Conner, surviving spouse of the late Rev. Harry W. Conner Jr. of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026. 

During his ministry, Rev. Conner faithfully served at Chicago Union Avenue; Chicago: Normal Park; Chicago: St James; Evanston: Emmanuel; Park Ridge: First (Associate); and Skokie: Central as well as serving the Chicago NO District.

Mrs. Conner was also the mother of Rev. James Conner (retired clergy, NIC) and mother-in-law of Rev. Sharon Frank (retired clergy, NIC)

Mrs. Conner was 95 years of age.

A memorial service will take place on Nov. 29 at 3 p.m. at First United Church of Evanston, 516 Church Street, Evanston.
