Rev. James M. Wilson, a member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. During his ministry, he served Elgin: Faith; Zion: Memorial; Joliet: Grace; Superintendent of DeKalb District; Barrington; and Hebron.
Rev. Wilson was 84 years old.
Celebration of life will take place Oct. 18 at Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 Algonquin Rd., Barrington, IL 60010.
Visitation will take place from 10 to 11 a.m., immediately followed by the memorial service. A luncheon will follow in the church hall.
