Almost 200 March for Justice for Immigrants
About 150 Northern Illinois United Methodists marched to demonstrate their support of justice for immigrants on June 15, near the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center.
Rev. Charlotte (Char) Hoffmann, a retired member of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2025. During her ministry, she served Polo: Emmanuel, Evergreen Park: First, River Forest, Villa Park: Calvary, Antioch, and Hebron.
Rev. Hoffmann was 73 years old.
A memorial service will be held on April 17 at 1 p.m. at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, 960 Army Trail Rd., Addison, IL 60101.
Clergy are invited to robe for the processional.
