First UMC in Oak Park is delighted to be hosting the Reverend Dr. Jim Winkler on January 14 at 4:00 pm. Winkler is the President of the National Council of Churches.
He will be discussing his recent visit to Israel, the West Bank and Palestinian settlements and sharing thoughts towards peace in the Middle East. This is a timely topic and one with rising importance as we consider the state of the world.
A time for questions and answers as well as refreshments and informal conversation will be held after his talk.
