A Creation-Care Summit on May 2, 9 a.m. to noon, will teach how to engage one's community, build green teams, reduce energy bills, and plant native plants.

Rev. Andrea Davidson will welcome everyone. The District Superintendent, Rev. Jacques Conway, will welcome us and read the Bishop's letter.
Rev. Nancy Rethford, co-chair of the NIC EcoJustice Task Force will present the work of the Task Force.
Resource tables from Elevate Energy, Faith in Place, 350.org, The Chicago Climate Agreement and solar providers will be available.
There will be presentations from United Methodist congregations on their work on water, LED lighting and geothermal. There will be three workshops: Green Teams; Energy Audits and Waste Management.
