2024 Cpres Retreat

Meeting at the Well: Sanctifying Grace & Anti-Racist Discipleship (John 4:1-42)

Sept. 8  (6 p.m.) through Sept. 10  (1 p.m.)

Online Registration

The work of anti-racism is hard, and for clergy, it might also seem lonely. At this two-and-a-half-day retreat clergy will gather to wrestle with difficult conversations and our pasts that form our humanity. This will take place in brave space where clergy can be honest and open with their current position on racism and their work toward the kingdom of God. Key elements of the event include soul care, clergy covenant relationships, worship, and engaging in reflective conversations about racism.

The Clergy Peer Reflection and Engagement Series Retreat is designed to help clergy understand themselves, realize their connection, and encourage them to make transformational changes in their lives and ministry.

Cost: (includes accommodations and meals)

  • NIC clergy: $250 single occupancy; $210 double occupancy
  • Non NIC-clergy: $300 single occupancy; $250 double occupancy
  • Previous CPRES registrant: $200 single occupancy; $150 double occupancy

Presenter:
Rev. Enger Muteteke, Senior Director, Programs and Education, General Commission on Religion and Race (GCORR)
