• Ivan Sarabia (District Superintendent Supply) to serve at Belvedere: Emerge (Prairie North District). Ivan follows Cris who has concluded his service. Effective Feb. 1
• Jackie Moreno (District Superintendent Supply) to serve as a Lay Missioner to Franklin Park: Living Waters NFC O’Hare (Lake North District). Effective Feb 1.
• Robert Campbell (Full Elder) to retirement from extension ministry as the Co-Director of Willow Wellness (Park Ridge, IL). Robert became a Probationary Elder in 1995 and a Full Elder in 1997. During his ministry, he served at Mokena, Freeport: First, Chicago: New Hope, and the Willow Wellness Center. Effective March 15. 
• Richard Fassig (Local Pastor) to retirement from Millington/Harding/Norway/Serena (Prairie South). Richard became a Local Pastor in 2007. During his ministry, he at served Chana, Rock Falls, Serena, Sheridan, Norway, Harding and Millington. Effective July 1. 
• Sharon Engert (Local Pastor) to retirement from Millbrook (Prairie South District). Sharon became a Local Pastor in 2009. During her ministry, she served at Lockport: Christ and Millbrook. Effective July 1. 
• Teri Lafferty (Local Pastor) to retirement from Plainfield: Sharon (Prairie Central District). Teri became a Local Pastor in 2010. During her ministry, she served at Mount Carroll, Rockford: Evans and Plainfield: Sharon. Effective July 1. 
• Catiana McKay (Full Elder) to retirement from Galena (Prairie North District). Catiana became a Probationary Elder in 2003 and Full Elder in 2007. During her ministry, she served at Addison: Good Samaritan, Chicago: United Church of Rogers Park and Galena. Effective July 1. 
• Pam Rossmiller (Full Elder) to retirement from Rockford: Grace (Prairie North District). Pam became a Provisional Elder in 2010 and Full Elder in 2012. During her ministry, she served at Kirkland: First and Rockford: Grace. Effective July 1. 
• Jonathan Singleton (Full Elder) to retirement from Stockton: Calvary (Prairie North District). Jonathan transferred from the North Indiana Conference and became a Full Elder in the Northern Illinois Conference in 1998. During his ministry, he served at Mendota: Zion, Sterling: Trinity, Winthrop Harbor: North Prairie, Freeport: Embury, Sandwich and Stockton: Calvary. Effective July 1. 
• Cheri Stewart (Local Pastor) to retirement from Ottawa: First (Prairie South District). Cheri became a Local Pastor in 2006. During her ministry, she served at Suydam, Cortland, Earlville, the LETS Connection (Leland, Earlville, Triumph, Suydam), Prophetstown and Ottawa: First. Effective July 1. 
• Michael Jones (Full Elder) to retirement from extension ministry as Director of Church Properties Re-Imagined (Chicago, IL). Michael became a Probationary Elder in 2007 and Full Elder in 2010. During his ministry, he served at Stockton: Wesley, Kent, Willow, Dixon: First, Shannon: Bethel and Church Properties Re-Imagined where he will continue to serve in retirement. Effective August 1.
• Seamus Enright (Provisional Elder) to Ottawa: First (Prairie South District) from Reynolds (Prairie South District). Seamus follows Cheri Stewart who is retiring.
• Auderine (Molina) Rochet (Licensed Local Pastor) to Rockford: Centennial (Prairie North) from Chicago: Emanuel (Lake North District). Audrey follows Uziel Hernandez who is ending his ministry.

• Kelli Knight (Elder) to Dira Partners from Chicago: Holy Covenant (Lake North District). Effective March 1.

February Announcements

• Vickie L. Hadaway (Full Elder) to retirement from Algonquin UMC/Sault Ste. Marie Central UMC (Northern Skies District, Michigan Annual Conference). Vickie became a Probationary Elder in 2002 and Full Elder in 2005. During her ministry, she served at Oak Park: Cornerstone, Chicago: Irving Park, Sugar Grove, Cherry Valley, and Algonquin UMC/Sault Ste. Marie Central UMC.
• Michelle Taylor Sanders (Full Elder) to retirement from Chicago: Kelly Woodlawn (Lake South District). Michelle became a Probationary Elder in 2001 and Full Elder in 2004. During her ministry, she served at Chicago: St. Mark, Chicago: Hartzell Memorial, and Chicago: Kelly Woodlawn.
• Daniel Swinson (Full Elder) to retirement from Sycamore UMC (Prairie South District). Daniel became a Probationary Elder in 1979 and Full Elder in 1985. During his ministry, he served at Lyndon/Leon, Chadwick, Mount Morris, Morrison, Mt. Prospect: Trinity, and Sycamore. 
• Deborah Percell (Full Elder) to retirement from Lake Bluff: Grace (Lake North District). Deborah became a Probationary Elder in 2005 and Full Elder in 2008. During her ministry, she served at Waterman, Morris: First, Elgin: Epworth and Lake Bluff: Grace.  
• Sejoon Jang (Full Elder) to Rockford: Grace (Prairie North District) from Hinkley (Prairie South District). Sejoon follows Pam Rossmiller who will be retiring.
• Britt Cox (Full Elder) to the newly created Evanston: First Associate (Lake North District) from Chicago: Church of the Three Crosses (Lake North District).
• Judy Rodriguez (District Superintendent Supply) to serve at Franklin Park: Living Waters NFC Northside (Lake North District). Effective Feb 15.

• Michelle Oberwise Lacock (Full Elder) to retirement from extension ministry as Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Supervisor at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. Michelle became a Probationary Elder in 1984 and a Full Elder in 1991. During her ministry, she served at Lyndon/Leon, Freeport: Faith, Peoria University, Glasford/Kingston Mines & Banner, Genesis Medical Center, Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Rush Hospital, Advocate Health Systems, Rush Medical Center, Adventist Medical Center, Wesley Medical Center, and Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center. Effective August 1, 2021.

• Mary Zajac (Full Elder) to retirement from St. Charles: Baker Memorial (Prairie Central). Mary was commissioned in 2006 and ordained in 2009. During her ministry, Mary served Plainfield: First, Minooka, and St. Charles: Baker Memorial. Effective July 1, 2023.
• Noah Panlilio (Full Elder) to retirement from Oak Park: St. John’s (Lake North). Noah transferred from the Philippines Central Conference in 1990s. During his minister, Noah has served Park Ridge: First, Plattville, Lemont, Sandwich: United, Lockport: First, Chicago: Elston Avenue, Malta, Malta: Northwest, Morrison and Oak Park: St. John’s. Effective July 1, 2023.
• Jonathan Singleton (Full Elder) to retirement from Stockton: Calvary (Prairie North). Jonathan transferred from the Indiana Conference in 1998. During his ministry, Jonathan has served Mendota: Zion, Sterling: Trinity, Winthrop Harbor: North Prairie, Winthrop Harbor: Winthrop Harbor, Freeport: Embury, Sandwich, and Stockton: Calvary. Effective July 1, 2023.
• Brian LeBaron (Associate Member) to retirement from Polo: Faith (Prairie South). Brian was received as an Associate Member in 2008. During his ministry, he served Van Brocklin, Florence, McConnell, Lena, Davis: Calvary, Rock City, and Polo: Faith. Effective July 1, 2023.
• Gary Peluso-Verdend (Full Elder) to retirement from Extension Ministry as President Emeritus, Phillips Theological Seminary (Tulsa, OK). Gary became a probationary Elder in 1979 and was ordained in 1983. During his ministry, Gary served Western Springs: First, Arlington Heights: First, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (Evanston, IL), and Phillips Theological Seminary (Tulsa, OK). Effective Feb. 1, 2023.
• Lisa Telomen (Full Elder) to retirement from Geneva (Associate) (Prairie Central). Lisa became a probationary Elder in 1987, and was ordained in 1994. During her ministry, she has served Maple Park, Cortland, Reynolds, Morris: First, Mayfair, Lombard: First, Evanston: Hemenway, Naperville: Grace, LaGrange: First, and Geneva. Effective July 1, 2023.
• Julie Bunt (Full Elder) to retirement from Mount Morris; Disciples (Prairie South). Julie was commissioned in 2000 and ordained in 2004. During her ministry, Julie served Morrison, LaMoille: Community, Freeport: Trinity, Cedarville, Freeport: Embury, and Mount Morris: Disciples. Effective July 1, 2023.
• Having faithfully served, the following local pastors will be ending their ministry effective July 1, 2023.
  • Gary Rich (Local Pastor) will conclude his ministry at Freeport: Red Oak/Cedarville (Prairie North).
  • Bruce Anderson (Local Pastor) will conclude his ministry at Winfield: Community (Prairie Central).
