Bishop Schwerin's Reflections on General Conference 2024
Bishop Dan Schwerin offers some reflections after listening to how news of The United Methodist General Conference is being received in Northern Illinois.
Mrs. Joyce J. Meyer, spouse of deceased member Rev. Charles Meyer of the Northern Illinois Conference, passed away on March 24, 2024. During Rev. Meyer’s ministry he served Chicago: St Luke's; Lombard: First (associate); Rockford: Brooke Road; Midlothian; Lockport: First; and Chicago: Morgan Park.
Mrs. Meyer was 90 years old.
The funeral service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Elmhurst, 232 S. York St., Elmhurst, IL, on April 13 at 1 p.m.
