You and members of your church are invited to a Saturday morning seminar on how members of The United Methodist Church can find substantive and practical ways to live into the 2012 General Conference “Act of Repentance toward Healing Relationships with Indigenous People.”

Dr. Casey Church, Executive Director of Wiconi International wiconi.com, will lead the informative workshop. Casey (aka Ankwawango or “Hole in the Clouds”) is a Pokagon Band Potawatomi elder, pipe carrier, church planter, and leader in the Native American Christian contextualized ministry and theology movement. Dr. Church also serves on the board of NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community (naiits.com). His forthcoming book on ceremony is entitled, Holy Smoke.
