Chicago Southern District Superintendent Jacques Conway’s contagious enthusiasm for this new minicamp (Sunday through mid-morning Wednesday), has everyone chomping-at-the-bit to “Unmask Jesus” through archery, swimming, canoeing, Bible study, team building, campfires, and so much more!
Youth Camp Toolkit & Downloads
The Youth Camp Toolkit Downloads contains all of the forms you’ll need for camp, as well as an invitation letter from the DS, parent/guardian and potential sponsor information, and publicity, media and social media resources to help you get the word out to your campers and their families. Reach out to your church family and also your community to bring anyone to camp who would like to come!
Basic Camp Information:
Who: Campers entering 4th-12th grade are welcome to come!
When: August 13th-16th
Where: Campers will be bussed out to our conference camp Reynoldswood in Dixon, IL
Cost: $25 at time of registration
What: A great few days of camp including games, archery, swimming in the pool, canoeing, Bible study, new friends, campfires and more.
Theme: Unmasking Jesus
Programming will be led by the staff at Reynoldswood.
The daily schedule includes all of the important things – Bible study, 3 meals and a snack (we will never be hungry!), as well as plenty of planned activities and choices for the young people to explore with old friends and new.
If you have folks who like to go and serve as volunteers – we would be grateful for the help! The cost for volunteers is $80, to cover food and utilities. We are looking for counselors as well as others with gifts and the desire to work with young people. Registration forms are located in the Youth Camp Toolkit (above). Please make copies and share them with your
community. Forms can be submitted by a family, or as a group by the church.

Fundraisers & Sponsors
If your young people or families need financial assistance, consider having a church fundraiser for them. Popular ideas include a bake sale, car wash, and ice cream social. Campers can also ask for donations and the address of the donors to write them a postcard of thanks while they are at camp.
Getting to Camp & Back
Campers will be bussed out to the campsite and back again. Busses will meet at 3 church sites (TBD):
