Beginning January 2014 grant applications* requiring the signatures of cabinet, staff and officers of the Northern Illinois conference must be submitted to those persons no less than seven calendar days prior to the application deadline.
*This policy applies to grant applications to Boards, Agencies, Foundations, and Commissions of The United Methodist Church as well as governmental and non-governmental/non-profit institutions.

For Undergraduate and Graduate Students

The BHECM is offering grants to current students participating in campus ministry at the college or university which they attend. Students may apply to receive funds in order to participate in a campus-ministry sponsored event or project that focuses on areas such as:
    • vocational exploration/discernment
    • spiritual growth
    • engagement in social justice
    • discipleship
    • leadership
    • specific priorities of the Northern Illinois Conference
