The NIC has closed the books on 2009 and I am happy to report that apportionment giving for the year totaled $6,021,235.  Year-end receipts from December and January were $1,427,680.  There were 205 (or 55% of) churches that paid 100% of their 2009 apportionments an increase of one church from 2008.  We know this year was especially difficult for many churches to make 100% apportionment giving a reality.  We are exceedingly grateful for every dollar given in support of our shared mission and ministry.  Every effort strengthens our connectional church as we work together for the transformation of the world.
